The Social Democrats will no longer fear the racist stamp

The governing party will clean up gang crime. But why have they not done so before?

This week it breaks loose in Gothenburg: The Social Democrats will have a national meeting from Wednesday to Sunday. It’s not a trifle they have to find out. Next fall is the election. It will be the first time in a small political eternity that party leader Stefan Löfven will not run as a prime ministerial candidate. What do they do then?

In August, Löfven announced his resignation. The message came bardus on. The 64-year-old has been active in the party since he was 13, party leader since 2012 and prime minister since 2014.
