The SNP, which won the Scottish Parliamentary elections, is not in the majority

The SNP, led by Scotland’s first minister, Nicholas Sturden, has won 64 of the 129 seats in parliament.

65 seats are required to secure an absolute majority.

However, the Green Party, which also supports Scottish independence, has won eight seats, which means that there will be an overwhelming majority of supporters of Scottish independence in parliament.

Conservatives will have 31 seats in the new parliament, Labor 22 seats and Liberal Democrats four seats.
