Inter Milan stuck at home 1-1 by Fiorentina. This result makes The Snake fail to stick to the top two teams A league, AC Milan and Naples.
Inter host Fiorentina at the Giuseppe Meazza in the continued Serie A match, Sunday (20/3/2021) early morning WIB. The visitors troubled La Benemata for 90 minutes.
They were able to serve Inter’s attacking game. The hosts fired 13 shots with five on target. Fiorentina had more attempts with 17 shots, four of which were on goal.
Fiorentina could even take the lead after the break from Lucas Torreira’s goal in the 50th minute. The Snake responded well five minutes later from Denzel Dumfries’ goal in the 55th minute.
The score 1-1 did not change until the game was over. This result makes Inter fail to stick to AC Milan and Napoli who are in first and second place with 63 points.
Simone Inzaghi’s men are in third with 60 points. Meanwhile, Fiorentina is in eighth place with 47 points.
The course of the match
Fiorentina threatened in the 7th minute. Nico Gonzales kick off long distance from outside the penalty box. However, his efforts can still be pushed over by Samir Handanovic.
La Viola again tried to create opportunities from shots from outside the penalty box. This time, through Riccardo Saponara in the 13th minute. Handanovic is still primed to block the ball.
Fiorentina’s quick attack seemed to make it difficult for Inter at the start of the match. Had trouble, the Nerazzuri slowly began to master the match.

In the final minutes of the match, Fiorentina almost stole a goal from Jonathan Ikone’s action. Ikone movement unstoppable until the Inter penalty box.
Handanovic made a crucial save by parrying Ikone’s shot. Score draw 1-1 closed the game.
