That’s the beginning of the adventures in The Smurfs. The clumsy Smurf ends up in New York along with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Burly Smurf, Grouchy Smurf and Brainy Smurf.
Such a metropolis in itself is already dangerous for the blue creatures, but it could be worse. Arch-enemy Gargamel (Hank Azaria) and his cat Azrael are also in The Big Apple.

To choose a good Smurfette, they listened to old interviews of possible Smurfettes without seeing any images. Only later did they discover who the person behind the voice was.
