Apple’s net profit in the fiscal first quarter, a lucrative pre-Christmas season, rose 29 percent to nearly $ 29 billion ($ 624.3 billion), with sales exceeding $ 100 billion for the first time.

The new iPhones played a significant role in this, as sales of apple phones rose to a record $ 65.6 billion, while analysts expected sales of only $ 59.8 billion. So while it is clearly a success, the iPhone 12 mini accounted for only a meager six percent of high sales.

From this it is clear that the interest in this design is very negligible. According to analyst firm JP Morgan, weak sales are even the reason why the American company is considering ending production. This could allegedly happen in the next quarter.

This would be the first time in the entire history of apple phones that the production of the iPhone would be terminated in less than a year.

In comparison, on the other hand, there are record sales of the iPhone 12 Pro, although Apple has not officially confirmed this. This model has been hopelessly sold out in stores for five months now.

What can the news do?
The individual models differ from each other mainly in the size of the screen. The new iPhone 12 will offer a 6.1-inch screen, the smaller version a 5.4-inch screen. Two sizes are also available for the more luxurious Pro edition, namely the iPhone 12 Pro boasts a 6.1-inch display and the iPhone 12 Pro Max a 6.7-inch display. The Pro versions are more luxurious and have an extra telephoto lens on the back.

The design of all the innovations is dramatically different from all its predecessors. Apple is basically going back to the era of the popular iPhone 5, where the sharp edges of a metal frame played a primary role instead of rounded sides.

Many rock fans will certainly welcome this design change, simply because the construction is lighter, thinner and basically smaller.

The increase in performance is practically taken for granted in the next generation of iPhones. Representatives of the American computer giant, however, boasted that the work pace is so brisk that, for example, League of Legends will run on apple phones, which is a popular video game designed primarily for classic computers. In doing so, Apple made it clear how dramatically performance improved. This is due to the Apple A14 Bionic chip, which has all four innovations.

Of all four novelties, the 12 mini version is the cheapest, and potential applicants will pay CZK 21,990 for it. People will then pay three thousand crowns for the iPhone 12 (CZK 24,990). Of course, the price tags are even higher for variants with the word Pro in the name, namely CZK 29,990 (iPhone 12 Pro) and CZK 33,990 (12 Pro Max).
