The smallest citroën got a terrain version. But only as a concept

Citroën speaks of the My Ami Buggy concept car as a playful model that every child between the ages of 14 and 77 would like to find under their tree. This is a redesigned version of the Ami city electric car with a robust exterior, headlight covers, extended fenders and solid tires.

Among other things, the car has an additional LED roof light, modeled on real off-roads, and it also has a roof rack that transports a spare tire in its case. The concept lacks a door, but instead has two carriers ready for special luggage. Shoulders need to be closed, cloth screens are available.

Citroën has placed special Advanced Comfort seats with memory foam in the interior, which have twice as much upholstery as the regular Ami model. There are also bottle racks and specially designed storage spaces. These were added not only instead of doors, but also in the middle of the steering wheel or on the dashboard.

There are also a few funny details, such as the words “pilot” and “copilot” above the crew’s heads or the numbers 01 and 02 on the driver’s and front passenger’s seats, which refer to the signs in car racing.

Although Citroën did not disclose what the car has under the hood, it will quite possibly be the drive from the standard version of the Ami, ie an eight-horsepower electric motor with a maximum speed of 45 km / h.

The standard ami is enough for its 5.5 kWh battery to travel up to 70 km, here it could be due to probably greater air resistance, caused by accessories and missing doors, a little less.
