The Škoda Fabia Monte Carlo has prices for the Czech market

The Monte Carlo version introduced last week took the top position in the fourth-generation Škoda Fabia offer.

The seemingly sporty variant is available with all supercharged engines in the fabia offer. The basis for the Monte Carlo is a liter three-cylinder TSI with an output of 70 kW, 95 hp in combination with a five-speed manual transmission. It will cost 444,900 crowns.

You can pay extra for a stronger version of the liter unit. It has 81 kW, 110 hp with a six-speed manual or seven-speed two-clutch cabinet. The highlight is a four-cylinder fifteen-cylinder with 110 kW, 150 hp, exclusively with a two-clutch transmission.

The predecessor came to 397,900 crowns at the time of the end of ordering in January 2021, but the carmaker argues that the novelty has additional equipment worth 64,200 crowns at no extra charge.

Standards include 16-inch alloy wheels with black paint, heated sports seats, carbon decor, Bi-LED headlights with cornering lights, front and rear parking sensors, ambient interior lighting, keyless locking and starting, USB-C in the interior reversing mirror or dual-zone air conditioning.

The so-called Color Concept is also standard on the Czech market, combining black paint on the roof, A-pillars and exterior mirrors with five body colors.

It’s all about appearance

Monte Carlo at Škoda means the sporty look of compact cars. It does not change the technical properties and is always available with a common range of motorization. The same is true of the new Fabia.

Black body elements are a typical change. Not only is the radiator grille frame and spoiler on the specific front bumper painted black, but also the exterior mirror covers, side sill covers and rear bumper diffuser.

It also includes the Škoda inscription on the boot lid in black and the aforementioned black lacquered roof, including a-pillars. The Monte Carlo inscription on the front fenders is again a safe hallmark. The light alloy wheels are also painted black, measuring 16 to 18 inches.

The interior of the new variant, which is dominated by black, offers red design elements, such as the cover of the standard sports seats with integrated head restraints.

The horizontal trim on the instrument panel, parts of the center console and door handles is also red. The lining of the ceiling and columns is painted black. The lower part of the instrument panel, decorated with a white contrasting seam and the armrests of the front doors, has a pseudocarbon design, while the pedal covers have a stainless steel look.
