She has already appeared in the service of the director’s car at this year’s Tour de France and now she has also served in this role at the Spanish Vuelta, which culminated this weekend.
The electric SUV, powered by race director Javier Guillén, served in several stages, in the thirteenth from Muros to Mirador de Ezaro, where the racers were waiting for a 20% climb, or in the last two stages. Enyaq iV led the cyclists at the head of the peloton to the finish line of the race in Madrid. In other stages, the plug-in hybrid Škoda Superb iV served as a “red car”.
