The Skipper from Woid | PNP Plus

The first time is very special. Whether the first appearance of a musician, the first goal of a footballer, the first case of a lawyer. Such moments are remembered and can shape people for a lifetime. The is about such drastic experiences PNP– Interview series “My first time”. Today with Stefan Behringer (38), skipper and entrepreneur from Haus i. Forest.

How did you get into sailing and how did you become a skipper?
Stefan Behringer: We were already there as children through my uncle when we sailed on the Vltava reservoir. 1995 was the first big trip in the northern Adriatic from Croatia. I’ve been fascinated ever since and decided to do it myself later. Up until 2008 I made the various required certificates with friends, such as the sport boat driving license inland / sea, the VHF radio operating certificate for maritime radio and then the sport coast boat license, which entitles you to drive sailing yachts in the sea. We completed our sailing practice at the AMS Regatta Bavaria Cup in Croatia. In May 2009 I was the first skipper myself on a vacation trip with friends.
