/ world today news/ The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has referred itself in connection with the leaked recordings of conversations between the former president of the Sofia City Court – <a href="https://www.world-today-news.com/acf-with-many-and-still-awkward-questions-to-sotir-tsatsarov/" title="ACF with many and still awkward questions to Sotir Tsatsarov“>Vladimira Yaneva and two other people, in which the names of the president of the Supreme Administrative Court Georgi Kolev and of the chief prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov.

The chairman of the ethical committee of the council, Yasen Todorov, stated that information was requested from the prosecutor’s office whether the recordings were from legal SRS or not. If the conversations were recorded by special intelligence means, the member of the SJC who has access to such information will check the content.

This is how the ethics commission approached the cases with conversations about the former city prosecutor Nikolay Kokinov and the former member of the council Kamen Sitnilski, Todorov specified.

If it turns out that the new portion of conversations were not recorded with the SRS, “we will think about what we will do”, the chairman of the ethics commission also stated.

The first episode of conversations was distributed last week by the website “Bivol”. They reached them through the internet platform for anonymous sharing “Balkanleaks”. The plot is related to the period in which the scandal broke out with the development “Chervei” and the removal of Yaneva.

It is clear from the conversations that both the chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court Georgi Kolev and the chief prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov tried to help Yaneva.

In the latest recording, released on Sunday evening, Yaneva, whose voice is recognizable, quotes her conversation with Tsatsarov, who promised her to “veil” the accusations against her.

So far, only Judge Rumyana Chenalova has confirmed the existence of such conversations, the President of the Supreme Court refused to comment.

The state prosecution stated that they will not comment on Tsatsarov’s words, as well as Yaneva’s remarks, especially since she is a defendant.
