The sixth CICA summit adopted a series of documents and Kuwait became a new member

According to the Satellite News Agency, at the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held on October 13, the countries supported the organization’s Kazakh presidency until 2024. Kuwait became the 28th member state of the organization at the top.

In addition, the Summit adopted the Astana Declaration on the Transformation and Development of the CICA, the Declaration on Safeguarding Security in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies and the Action Plan for the Implementation of United Nations Resolutions on ‘anti Terrorism. The countries also unanimously agreed to establish the AsiaInfo Fund.
