Continuation of the second wave or third wave? This is no longer the question for caregivers in the Grenoble-Sud-Isère hospital territory. What is certain is that the number of COVID patients is on the rise, after a long “high plateau”.
Maintain barrier gestures!
The managers of health establishments in the territory therefore call on the entire population as a priority to continue to respect barrier gestures as much as possible and to observe responsible behavior.
24% more hospitalizations in one week
As of March 28, the CHUGA announces that the number of people hospitalized for COVID is 292, including 60 in critical care. That’s a 24% increase in one week! Obviously worrying trend. At the height of the “second wave” in November, the maximum number of hospitalizations rose to 538.
Reorganizations needed
How to deal with this “new wave”? Response from CHUGA management: “all public and private establishments in the Grenoble-Sud-Isère region are reorganizing and increasing their care capacity, in particular with the opening, to date, of 10 additional intensive care beds. The reallocation of the medical and nursing resources necessary for these reorganizations now involves a slowing down of the planned activity, while preserving the management of vital emergencies, functional emergencies and diagnostic and therapeutic oncology activities, whether on an outpatient basis. or conventional“.
Barrier gestures:
- Wear a mask in all circumstances
- Wash your hands often
- Cough in his elbow
- Keep a distance of more than 2 meters from other people
- Air the rooms for 10 minutes, 3 times a day
