In its latest weekly bulletin, the Toulouse rectorate announces a deterioration in the health situation in schools within the academy. Indeed, while no school was closed last week, they are now 3, including 2 in Haute-Garonne and 1 in Tarn-et-Garonne. Likewise, the number of closed classes has quintupled, from 20 to 100, including 76 in Haute-Garonne, 9 in Aveyron, 5 in Tarn, 3 in Ariège and Gers, 2 in Tarn-et-Garonne, and 1 in the Lot and in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
Four times more confirmed cases of Covid-19 in students
In detail, 446 students, out of more than 534,000 in the Toulouse academy, have tested positive during the last 7 days, against 114 the previous week. And the number of staff reached has more than doubled, from 15 to 32.
