Polda Metro Jaya still conducting a series of in-depth investigations into gambling issues online including officers Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi). Police said the suspects would not block gambling sites online someone they already know.

“They have a real authority to investigate gambling websites online. “Then they were given full authority to ban,” Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Head of Public Relations Ade Ary Syam Indradi told reporters, Friday (1/11/2024).
Ade Ary explained that the position and authority given was misused by the suspects. He also explained that the perpetrators would not block sites whose managers were still known.
“Yes, but they also abuse (blocking), if they already know them, they don’t block their data,” explained Ade Ary.
Polda Metro Jaya also today investigated a shophouse in Galaxy area, Bekasi City, which was suspected to be the office of an employee of the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Komdigi) involved in gambling. online. The police said that the suspects were looking for and renting an office which they called a ‘satellite office’.
11 people arrested, including Komdigi employees
Polda Metro Jaya named 11 suspects in connection with the gambling case online. Police said the 11 suspects were from Komdigi.
“(A total of 11 people were arrested and they were named as suspects. There are civilians and some of them are Komdigi, there are also several experienced Komdigi workers,” Kombes Ade Ary said.
However, the identity details and how many suspects are Komdigi employees are still unknown. He also said there were suspects who were still at large.
