There’s no doubt it’s been a rough time for TV profile Kody Brown (53). In just one year he went through three divorces and did it now there is only one wife left.
Three divorces in one year
In 17 seasons, Brown was very successful in the TV series “Sister Wives”, where the cameras followed the life of Brown and his four wives; Meri (51), Janelle (53), Robyn (43) and Christine (50).
However, there have been cracks in the polygamous marriage, and he is now married only to Robyn Brown, in what can be described as “a completely normal marriage”.
Now some of the other wives also reveal that the relationship between them is not entirely rosy either, according to Entertainment tonight.
– Sounds like a betrayal
– Lost
On the “Sister Wives One-on-One” special, Christine and Meri Brown discuss their failed marriage to Kody, and at the same time make revelations about their relationship.
They have trouble being friends.
– I felt very disappointed in her, and she left me too, because she always said, ‘I didn’t just want the man. I wanted sister wives,’ Meri says of her reaction when she learned that Kody and Christine had split.
– I know what kind of relationship we had in the past. It was fun. It wasn’t very deep, but a lot of fun. And I’ve been missing it for several years, she adds.
– I didn’t need him anymore
Not friends
Christine Brown, for her part, can say that she ended her friendship with Meri several years ago.
– I ended the relationship. I did it. He wasn’t safe for me anymore, so I closed it, she says, and continues:
– I just told her openly: “No, we won’t be friends anymore, because I don’t trust you. I won’t trust myself anymore.”
She also describes how Meri treated her badly which made her stressed.
About the wives: – They are not loyal
– I’m not sure what the problem is. I may not always have been the perfect person, perfect wife, or perfect sister’s wife, Meri further admits.
However, Christine adds that she supported Kody and Meri’s marriage.
