Ammar Zoni again had to deal with the police because of drugs. The arrest occurred starting from the driver and his friend who were arrested by members of the South Jakarta Police Narcotics Satres.
Kombes Ade Ary Kapolres Metro Jakarta Selatan gave information regarding the chronology of Ammar Zoni’s arrest. Driver Ammar Zoni, M, admitted that he was asked by his employer to buy methamphetamine.
“The chronology of events around Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., was an agreement between the suspect AZ and M, who was a driver to buy and use methamphetamine-type narcotics. A few hours later, AZ transferred IDR 1.5 million using mobile banking to suspect M to buy narcotics. ,” said Kombes Ade Ary at the South Jakarta Police.
Driver Ammar Zoni asked his partner, RH, who allegedly knew where they could get the drugs.
“Suspect M invited RH to ride a motorcycle together to the Boncos area, West Jakarta. The two suspects met with someone usually called Bang, bought with Rp. 1 million, the suspect got two clips of methamphetamine,” he explained.
“Then suspect M gave wages to RH, RH allegedly knew a place where they could get methamphetamine-type narcotics. Then RH also bought a clip of methamphetamine-type narcotics. M and RH used methamphetamine together in the Boncos area,” continued Kombes Ade Arya.
The methamphetamine had not yet reached Ammar Zoni, the driver and his partner were arrested at the East Ragunan Gate.
“On the way home, suspects M and RH were arrested by the South Jakarta Police Narcotics Unit at around 19.30 WIB in front of the East Ragunan gate. Three clear plastic bags containing methamphetamine were secured from the two suspects,” he said.
“Then to the officer, M (the driver) admitted that the items he had were entrusted to him by suspect AZ. Then the development officer arrested the third suspect, AZ, at his house in the Babakan Madang area, West Java,” said Kombes Ade Ary.
Ammar Zoni was arrested when he was alone at his house in the Sentul area, West Java.
