A dramatic announcement, that of Tom Parker appeared a few hours ago on his Instagram social profile. Profile in which the singer had been underactive in recent weeks. The reason he explained it himself, in the last post published: the former The Wanted singer has a brain tumor. In an interview with OK! Magazine, wife Kelsey Hardwick explained some details about the discovery of the disease. At first, the singer suffered from fever and epilepsy, but the couple ignored the symptoms, thinking they were transient. Only after repeated seizures, Tom and his partner decided to see a doctor. And the diagnosis was immediately terrible: it is a gliobastoma, a tumor in most cases inoperable. In the case of the singer, the disease is unfortunately at the most advanced stage and not curable.
Terrible news for the couple, who is expecting their second baby: Kelsey is pregnant with. But, as also pointed out in the post on Instagram, Tom and his partner will do everything to seek a cure and try to defeat the disease. “We don’t want your sadness, we want love and positivity”, is the singer’s invitation.
