A new chapter is opening for Sylvain Duthu, singer of the group Boulevard des Airs. Indeed, on his various social networks, the artist announced the release of a new album, but this time, solo! Entitled “15h22”, this opus is a real diary in which the singer ofTake me away opens up, without filter, about an ordeal he went through three years ago: a terrible car accident. “This album was a way for me to move forward, to not go around in circles, to not go crazy.”he explains on his TikTok account. “My girlfriend and I had a bad car accident three years ago, and the months after were difficult. So we had to do something, create, at least a movement, and that came through music.”

The result is a very personal album, of which Sylvain Duthu seems very proud: “During this period of writing and composing, something happened, I blew up all the barriers, my barriers. The dam gave way, and I wrote like a torrent held back for too long. I wrote about the accident, of course, but I started writing about everything else.”he confides, impatient to make his music known to his fans. “I felt lucky to be alive. I didn’t think anyone would read this diary, so I wrote without a filter.” admits the singer, before concluding, more positively, “I have just spent almost three years on this album. I feel like I have completed something important, I needed to do it. Now, in a few hours it is yours (…). May it do you as much good as it has done me.”

Boulevard des Airs: Sylvain Duthu returns to his accident
Last February, the singer-songwriter returned to this traumatic experience in the columns of The Dispatch : “The evening of the last concert of the tour in Bordeaux, I came home with my partner, a friend and our little cousin. We were stopped at a red light when a drunk driver trying to escape the police hit us head-on.” Although the singer did not suffer too many after-effects from the accident, he says that his partner did “the pulverized arm”. An event that pushed the couple to make a big decision: “When things were better, we left Tarbes, left Paris and moved near the ocean. We needed air.”
