“We tried to save the family, but unfortunately it didn’t work,” the singer admits about the separation from her son’s father.
Laura and businessman Nikita Lakstīgala, who got married on September 2, 2016 in the Jelgava Orthodox Church, have already started the new year as divorced people. Laura also no longer has her husband’s last name. “There wasn’t and isn’t any drama. Although we didn’t have arguments on a daily basis, we didn’t see that we could be husband and wife anymore. I wish everyone who doesn’t continue their journey together break up as respectfully as we did,” says Laura.
Their relationship produced a son, Lucas, who will celebrate his fifth anniversary this summer. The singer admits that both take care of the child. “We are still the parents of our son, and in this respect we will cooperate so that he grows up happy.”
