Electronic Arts has recently revealed The Sims 4 High School Years Expansion Pack, through which players can relive the highs and lows of adolescence.
Come see more about this return to puberty…
The real-life simulator continues to shine and even as the years go by, The Sims 4 continues to maintain the same vigor and fun that we are used to.
And the biggest proof of that, are the consecutive expansion packs that Electronic Arts and Maxis have made available and among which is this High School Years Expansion Pack that I'm writing to you today.

This new expansion, arriving July 28, High School Years Expansion Pack, offers players the opportunity to discover their own path as they relive their (virtual) adolescence. High school is a time of self-discovery, and in high school years, players can live out their high school dreams as they take advantage of being teenagers to explore their identity, attend high school, and test boundaries through your choices and also growth.
This is one of the secrets of The Sims: the ability to allow players to create different versions of themselves, experiencing the alternate lives they build with their Sims.
With this expansion, players will be able to relive the High School Years, either after school ends, or on weekends. It will be a new moment of personal growth (for our Sim) that will allow them to learn, grow and express themselves which will transform their lives along the roller coaster of puberty.
In addition to attending classes and joining extracurricular activities at Copperdale High School, Sims can go on a date to remember later at Plumbite Pier or have a drink while browsing clothes at ThrifTea. Players can also customize the Sim's prom experience, from promotional to choosing the perfect prom outfit and getting ready for the big event, so Teen Sims can dance the night away with friends. There's so much to do as a teenager, and so little time before graduation!
For the creation of the High School Years Expansion Pack, the development team collaborated with the fashion marketplace app Depop. And that's precisely what The Sims has always had an eye on: fashion.
Fashion, and all the creativity associated with it, has always been a big part of self-expression in The Sims, and collaboration expands into the game's fashion looks as the Sims teenager can create their own sense of style and define trends for others to follow.
Our Sim can purchase clothing items designed by Depop vendors jeremy Salazar, Sha'an D'Antes, Lapoze McTribouy, Selena Williams, and Bella McFadden in-game at the local store and boba hangout, ThrifTe. Thanks to the style that our Sim creates, you can earn Simoleons by selling clothes in the new trendi apps in the game – and thus becoming a "Simfluencer"
"The Sims 4 High School Years takes players on a journey of growing up to tell personal stories of self-discovery and the drama of being a teenager.", said George Pigula, head producer of The Sims 4 High School Years. "SIMS will learn to juggle school and extracurricular events, form lifelong friends and experience great moments like the prom. They can even develop their own fashion likes & dislikes with the new Trendi app featuring clothes designed by Depop sellers. High school is an incredibly formative time, and we wanted to give players the opportunity to create and customize their own personalized high school experiences before their Sims reach adulthood."
The Sims 4 High School Years Expansion Pack is rated T for Teen by the ESRB and will be available July 28 for PC and Mac via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
