Electronic Arts has just confirmed the great news. Sims 4 is transitioning to the free-2-play business model, so we’ll download the booth for free. Gamers can count on a complete experience as developers want to offer full production with a new business model.
Until a few hours ago it was just a rumor, and now EA and Maxis have announced an important news: The Sims 4 will be available for free on October 17th. Players who previously purchased the production will receive the Oasis of Decor Collection for free.
However, the community can rest assured that this is just the beginning of the attractions, and Sims 4 gets a lot of support:
“Millions of players have joined The Sims over the years, and EA and Maxis have been able to admire the activation of imaginations, discover and connect extraordinary ideas and experiences, and experience players with versions of themselves, both in the game and in the game. Reality Life With The Sims 4’s transition to the free model, the team is committed to creating new and unique experiences more than ever and will continue to develop and release Package, Collection and Express Delivery content in the near future.
Electronic Arts points this out Sims 4 can be downloaded for free on PC (Origin / Steam) and consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One). Maxis will prepare a special event called Behind The Sims Summit, which will allow fans to know the exact plans for the development of the game – the event will take place on October 18th.
It is certainly an interesting idea to use a strong brand – as you know, in this case the stand is only the beginning, because the article has been receiving a number of different accessories for years, which of course will still be paid.
