Years go by and the creators of The Simpsons they keep coming up with new scenarios and new ideas to lengthen the franchise. Therefore, this December 16th the new short Men in Yellow will be released on Disney Plus, The Simpsons meet Bocelli in ‘Merry Christmas’, this being a Christmas special.
The animated series created by Matt Groening will premiere a new special in Disney+which, as the name reveals, is set at Christmas. This short film shows a fun and entertaining story where the Springfield family meets the star of the Italian opera, Andrea Bocelli.
The Bocelli family composed of Andrea Bocelli, his 25-year-old son Matteo and his 10-year-old daughter Virginia will appear in the North American series, from Homer wants to surprise Marge with a special Christmas present, so he gets the opera singer, along with his kids, to sing to his wife and family.
Similarly, Thursday 15, Andrea, Matteo and Virginia Bocelli will also release the new single “Merry Christmas” which appears in the short and which is part of his new album “A Family Christmas”.
It’s not the first time that The Simpsons they make short films with “cameos” with characters or actors. “The Simpsons meet the Bocellis in ‘Merry Christmas’ is the latest in a collection of family-friendly mystery shorts created exclusively for Disney streaming services. Previously released shorts “When Billie Eilish Met Lisa”, “Awakening Nap” (both Emmy nominees), “The Good One, the Bart and the Loki” yes “The Simpsons on Plusniversary” are currently available on Disney plus yes Star+And “Welcome to the club”it is only available on Disney plus.
