The silent journey of César Chirinos: resilience in pantomime

The talented Peruvian mime César Chirinos takes us on a journey through the history of pantomime, full of humor, charm and poetry.

On stage, under the halo of light, a universe unfolds without words but full of meaning. César Chirinos, a virtuoso of gesture, invites us on a unique journey through the history of pantomime in his show “A Silence to Remember.”

“It’s like exploring the essence of resilience through art,” Chirinos shares backstage. His character, Pocho, a navigator of the streets, becomes the guide of this journey where loneliness and emptiness are transformed into an ocean of imagination and hope.

The piece, an original creation, weaves moments of humor, charm and poetry into a narrative that awakens the viewer’s sensitivity. “It is a tribute to the transformative power of art in times of adversity,” adds the talented mime.

“A Silence to Remember” is more than a show; It is an experience that transcends borders. After its presentation in Lima, the work will embark on a world tour, taking its message to destinations such as Cuzco, Boston, New York, Granada, Madrid, Lyon and Toulouse.

The only pro-fund function will take place on Saturday, March 30 at 8 pm at the Dome of the Arts, next to the Yoy Lima Box Park, near the Jockey Plaza. Tickets are available at Joinnus and are especially recommended for youth and adult audiences.
