Rashid Al-Hafeti said: The Eid councils are part of the authentic societal heritage in the UAE, and even a meeting point between family members and dignitaries from various segments of society without exception, and an opportunity to meet friends and know the conditions of people, and the Eid councils in themselves constitute a meeting place for generations.
It is a beautiful opportunity to strengthen the ties of kinship and instill good values in the hearts of children, as they are like schools in which children learn the virtues, customs, traditions and values of society, where senior citizens are keen to restore their memories that add an atmosphere of suspense and nostalgia for the past in the councils.

Dr. Bashar Ali also stressed that the most important characteristic of the Emirati councils in general is their keenness to be an authentic place to enhance the Emirati identity, and to address through discussions the Emirati customs, traditions and values with the aim of introducing youth and children to them.
