The ISS update will arrive around 4pm today, October 4th. Only later, the ordinances of the Ministry of Health on the establishment of the red zones can be signed. As reported by the Newspaper, Lombardy and Piedmont are already in the sights, perhaps even Calabria. So, red areas probably as early as tomorrow, Thursday 5 November. But last-minute surprises cannot be ruled out.
The regions that end up in the highest risk bracket will have to comply with rather strict measures. Indeed retail stores will be closed, except for groceries, pharmacies and newsstands; catering activities (pubs, bars, restaurants, pastry shops, ice cream parlors) and non-food markets. Instead, they will remain open hairdressers and barbers. Particularly heated, however, the clash between the government and the Regions, which denounce the lack of clarity on the procedures and methods adopted to define the areas and territories at the highest level of risk. The red zones also make it impossible to leave or enter the region; travel outside the municipality of residence is also prohibited. Only the entrance to the region is guaranteed for those who return to their residence.
