Before the pop culture of the ’80s, the B-category action movies, and Japanese culture, Nekcom Entertainment heads head to Showa American Story at the same time. A girl who has returned from her death takes America, which has become a colony of Japan, full of zombies.

In the world of Showa American Story, the United States is only known as Showa 66 because it was quasi-acquired by Japan and made it an unofficial colony. However, Nekcom Entertainment did not stop at this cultural mix, as it was scattered around the world by an unknown catastrophe that freed zombies and monsters for the country. Under these circumstances, the teenager Choko embarks on an adventure who has risen from the dead and acquired special abilities.
To be sure, Nekcom has not spared, throwing all the madness into this action role-playing game, in which we cross ourselves through hordes of zombies crossing through Japaneseized America with a katana, a rifle or even a giant drill bit – we can have a variety of makeshift weapons to control Choko. The developers promise non-stop action, which, however, will not be without tactics.
Showa American Story will also be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, but we don’t have a date yet.
