According to Barrandov TS, the operator only provided transmission space for teleshopping blocks to the operator.

She described the show as teleshopping, but at the same time offered viewers cash prizes. Janek Rubeš and Honza Mikulka pointed out the show on the YouTube channel Boys from Prague.

Boys from Prague: Angela won 18 times, she lost
“We are glad that the required result was achieved by the technical provider of the payment system, the company ATS Praha (Advanced Telecom Services, sro), in cooperation with the operator of the program quickly and efficiently. At the same time, we believe that this story will be an inspiration for all other paid service providers to make communication with their potential customers transparent and fair, ”said Grund.

According to Rubeš and Mikulka, some people on the show line called up to tens of thousands of crowns and it was actually a lottery game. In addition, the video shows how one of the moderators encourages children to play “with the permission of their parents or with their assistance”, even though by law under the age of 18 they are not allowed to play such games.
–
After calling the toll-free number, the customer received a code for an electronic subscription to Sedmička magazine. At the same time, however, the show’s moderator actively motivated viewers to call the studio via a toll number and answer competition questions.
–
As it may not have been clear to viewers that the main purpose of the call was to purchase a magazine subscription (teleshopping) and not to participate in the competition, operators described the concept of the program as ethically controversial and arranged a remedy.
–
Rubeš and Mikulka also pointed out that according to the conditions of the competition, the number of prizes is limited to one month. Therefore, if the contestants won more than three times, they did not receive part of the prize. The authors illustrate this with Mrs. Angela, who appeared in the public list of winners.
–
Angela scored 18 prizes in one month in the total amount of 4,500 crowns. According to the rules, however, she was only entitled to 500 crowns. The creator estimated the price for 18 calls at 1710 crowns. This would mean that Mrs. Angela lost 1,210 crowns for the entire transaction.
