Directed by Nandakishore and starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Rishabha, a big-budget pan-Indian film, will start shooting in May. Young Telugu hero Vijay Devarakonda plays the role of Mohanlal’s son in the film. This is Mohanlal’s third Telugu film. Prior to this, Mohanlal acted in Telugu films Janatha Garage and Vismayam.
Apart from Telugu, the film will also be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi. A combination of action and emotional moments, the film revolves around the relationship between a father and his son.
The film is produced by Abhishek Vyas, Praveer Singh and Shyam Sundar. The makers are hoping that Rishabha will hit theaters by 2024.
