The Judo team at the Shogun gym in Tudela once again organized a training course for first to fourth dan judo, both via exam and via a training classroom. This course was led by the Director of the Navarra School, Eduardo Marco, together with the Riberos Masters Félix Pastor (Technical Director of Shogun) and Antonio Martínez, with the participation of a total of 41 judokas from all over Navarra.
Félix and Antonio stayed in the lower room of the gym to explain and examine those who opted for the Training Class route, while Eduardo, with the help of Rebeca Rodríguez, was in charge of preparing the students who took the exam in the first floor.
Judokas who opt for the Training Class route must attend six blocks, each with a different syllabus, and take the exam over three hours per course. In this modality, María Jesús Navarro of the club passed the five required tests.
On the other hand, those who opt for the final exam route must take three or four courses, depending on the grades, and appear before a national tribunal at the end of the year or in mid-June to demonstrate what they have learned. Among the Shogun judokas who will perform for 1st Dan are Arturo Calvo, Alba Sagra, Kira Aguado, Iker Martínez, Jesús Ledesma, Nadiuska Aznar, Iosu Bea and Zakarias Khaldoun. Rebeca Rodríguez and Antonio Martínez will present for 4th Dan.
On December 14, Félix Pastor, with the approval of the Navarra Judo Federation, will bring the 2024 Judo and Personal Defense exams, with two students appearing for judo and three for Personal Defense.
