While she was happy to find her audience after months of estrangement linked to the health crisis, Catherine Ringer was finally forced to postpone several performances for medical reasons. Last July, the organizers of a Lyon festival had indeed had to announce on social networks that the singer was not able to provide the show. To make matters worse, Catherine Ringer was then affected by Covid-19 and this, “even though she would have taken the precaution of being doubly vaccinatedr”.
Back on his feet, the star of Rita Mitsouko had finally managed to return to the stage. Something to delight his fans who had wisely waited for their idol to recover. This Thursday, November 25, 2021, the singer was thus expected on the stage of the Forum de Liège and she did not miss the call, to the delight of the public.
But after only two songs, the 64-year-old singer who had just started her song “Marcia Baïla” was the victim of terrible discomfort and literally collapsed on stage. The images of her fainting were also shared on social networks and we can see the artist lying on the ground for several seconds before a member of his team comes to help him.
If Catherine Ringer came to her senses backstage, she subsequently announced that she would not be able to provide the rest of the show which was once again postponed.
