Lipno is very, very expensive. Our unfeigned astonishment at the full COOP store located here therefore lasted approximately half an hour. It was enough for us to look at the menu of the first suitable restaurant.
It’s beautiful and it’s called Molo Restaurant. However, we did not eat there. Corn porridge with roasted vegetables here cost 530 crowns. The baked carp cost 680 crowns and the lamb shank was 940 crowns. If you want to stick to soup only, the kulajda will cost you 185 crowns, as well as the classic broth.
But the environment was lovely. After all, we already wrote about that.
PrahaIN.cz subsequently went two more times to places that are turning into the Czech Riviera. We mentioned, for example, gothaj with bread for 180 crowns.
“Finally, we had lunch in Frymburk, where I got a duck leg for 264 crowns and chicken cutlets for children for 80 crowns. These are incomparable amounts. They don’t have normal families in Lipno,” businessman Michal Prorok told PrahaIN.cz.
“It wasn’t until the third attempt that I managed to photograph people in the bistro,” said Michal Prorok. Photo: PrahaIN.cz
The articles generated widespread interest and a new influx of price tips. We choose only one of them. Of course, it concerns Lipno and again the Molo gastronomic network there.
“Children are used to fresh juice. We had already had enough, so we asked the waiter for the price of a liter of orange juice. We buy a similar amount for four in shopping centers, so we thought of repeating it in Lipno,” said our other reader.
Price? Exactly 1,200 crowns. “I thanked and left. I can’t say more about it, but my mouth itched a lot,” he added.
PrahaIN.cz verified the prices on the spot and the information provided corresponds. Cafe du Lac (belongs to the MOLO network) in Lipno offers fresh orange juice for 120 crowns. A liter is ten times more expensive.
