After the presentation of the GTS version of the Taycan that we told you about earlier today, Porsche also revealed the most powerful production version of the Cayman ever made. It received the designations GT4 RS and borrowed its 4.0-liter gasoline engine from the top 911 GT3.
Thanks to it, the Cayman GT4 RS boasts acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds thanks to the “modest” according to Porsche 493 horsepower. The atmospheric engine providing 449 Newton meters is combined with rear-wheel drive and automatic transmission.
This is the same Porsche that managed to pass through the Nurburgring a few weeks ago with a time of 7: 04.511. The time is 23 seconds better than that of the standard Cayman GT4, which is also due to the improved aerodynamics and reduced weight.
Cayman GT4 RS is 22 kg lighter than the standard GT4 model thanks to carbon parts, lighter fenders and cover, lighter glass in the rear and removed interior elements. The aerodynamic data is improved by splitters on the front bumper, diffuser in the rear and a fixed spoiler, which add even more aggression to the look of the car.
