A Verne: The Shape of Fantasy takes place in the alternate year 1888, when the war against the terrible “Nation” has reached its peak and destroys the land of Hemera, the fantastic world created by Gyula Verne. Aboard the mighty Nautilus, Verne, Captain Nemo and the brave crew struggle to uncover the secrets of Atlantis, a fabled utopia threatened with mass destruction by the very resource Verne and his crew seek to find: the Flame of Hephaestus. As a further development of classic point-and-click adventure games, the Verne in addition to the standard WASD directional buttons and dynamic conversation options, it mixes gameplay with old-school mechanics like exploration, fun puzzles, hidden objects, and an exciting story centered around Atlantis.
