According to him, the collection of evidence in criminal cases, within the framework of which the searches were carried out, took from 4 to 6 months. In total, the SFS is investigating nine criminal cases concerning tax evasion and embezzlement of property of the Kiev city community.
So, one of the cases concerns the possible embezzlement of UAH 80 million, which were transferred to the Kievmetrostroy enterprise for fictitious repairs of a specialized tunnel boring complex. At the moment, they are finding out who appropriated this amount, as well as the technical condition of the repair facilities.
The SFS is also investigating possible theft during the repair of the tram line in the Desnyanskiy district of Kiev, from the Lesnaya metro station to the Darnitskiy railway station. The cost of repairing one kilometer of track was UAH 82 million. At the same time, it is noted that the money for the repair was received by a company that did not carry out the repair – it was carried out by KP Kyivpastrans.
In addition, Melnyk spoke about possible manipulations with tenders at Kievteploenergo. There, out of the total amount of tenders of UAH 260 million, violations can range from UAH 16 million to UAH 36 million.
At the same time, the head of the SFS urged not to look for a political background in the actions of law enforcement officers.
Earlier, the SFS reported that they conducted 31 searches in the communal enterprises of Kiev and contractors, as a result of which they revealedand non-payment of taxes for 100 million hryvnia.
