The Seventh Day captures images of Sahar and Jamal, Canadian Embassy diplomats in Cairo, providing dates and juice during Iftar.

The Canadian Embassy in Cairo published, on its Facebook account, pictures showing the participation of diplomats in the embassy in distributing dates, juice and water to passers-by at breakfast time in Morocco, in front of the embassy headquarters in Cairo.

And the embassy wrote on the photos, “Diplomats are full of energy, enthusiasm and vitality! We were impressed by the beauty of the iftar tables in the streets in Egypt and took the initiative to do so outside the embassy headquarters in Cairo.”

The embassy also wrote a comment on the photos saying, “Magic and beauty. Ramadan in Egypt prompted Canadian diplomats to go down to distribute dates and juice at breakfast hour.”
