More than just watching cravings Netflix also gave us shows with epic soundtracks that we could over-listen to. But which soundtrack wins the most popular crown of all of our favorite series?
After polling 3,467 series fans to find the 10 best Netflix series with the best music, analysts at OnBuy.com calculated the average streams of soundtracks for each series on Spotify to determine which was the most aired.
The results
Strange things comes first with a huge one 87 022 122 average streams per song. With 247,596 subscribers, the Spotify playlist of the series gave us 2 hours and 55 minutes of enticing insights into our favorite foreign world.
The second is 13 reasons why. Every piece in the series was played on average 59 825 286 times. The playlist gives us 3 hours and 55 minute of songs ranging from the theme song Hannah and Clay to Billie Eilish and Selena Gomez.
Creating the three most popular Netflix soundtracks is Black mirror With 48 943 294 average streams per song. While its episodes are controversial for some people, the 5-hour, 9-minute soundtrack is sure to appeal to all musical tastes, including artists like Alanis Morrissette, the Bee Gees, and Simple Minds.
German thriller dark ranks in ninth place. Although the most popular playlist in the series is followed by 101,071 Spotify users, the average number of streams for each of the 39 songs is 13 251 466.
Surprisingly, views draw for The Queen’s move doesn’t seem to go with his soundtrack – 11 362 222 average number of streams per song, proving that chess doesn’t sound as good as it looks!
