The SER tours Spain and this Friday, June 11, it arrives in Ojén (Málaga) on the occasion of the next official declaration of the Sierra de las Nieves as a new National Park, the third in Andalusia.
Carles Francino, and his entire team will be, live, from four in the afternoon at the Ojén Town Hall Plenary Hall. The SER string the first stage of the project closed in December “The SER travels Spain”, a tour of the different cities of our country that started last September and with which he wanted to give a voice to citizens and highlight the different local realities in the context of the current health crisis. After the success of the initiative in 2020, the leading radio station in Spain resumes the tour that will last until the end of June and with which it proposes to bring Day by day, Window Y Hour 25 to every corner of the Spanish geography.
“The SER tours Spain” leads to the programs Day by day, from Àngels Barceló; Window, from Carles Francino Y Hour 25 from Pepa Bueno to Vigo, Linares (Jaén), Cádiz, Cáceres, Sevilla, San Sebastian, Mallorca, Alicante, Cartagena, Bilbao, Malaga, Zamora, Cordoba, Murcia, Huelva O Almeria, Among other cities, it will have relevant content and guests in each location.
In the first part of the tour, more than 20 cities, Gibraltar, Sevilla, Santiago de Compostela, Santander, The Gran Canarian palms, Tenerife, Toledo, Castellón, Badajoz, Murcia, Cádiz, Córdoba, Valladolid, Alicante, Almeria, Valencia, Sevilla, Mallorca, Málaga, Granada Y A Coruña, received the teams of Àngels Barceló, Carles Francino Y Pepa Good.
The thematic variety of each special program had to do with the intention of making the local reality visible that, on many occasions, escapes the national media focus. The effects of science in our lives, the future of educational centers, the challenges for tourism, rural depopulation, the situation of the hotel industry, the management of immigration, the consequences of Brexit for Spaniards or the role of the woman in society were some of the topics that were discussed. All this, framed in the context of crisis that has led to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain.
With this project, the SER tries to return to each of its listeners the fidelity that they have always shown and especially during the last year. In times of crisis and change, when radio is more necessary than ever, Cadena SER’s objective continues to be the same: to listen and attend to the demands of citizens.
