Take time off the stove for at least one meal and do it for a good cause. The Fondation régional Hôpital Sept-Îles (FRHSI) and the restaurant Le Bavard et l’Ivrogne have once again joined forces to offer a festive meal box for the holiday season parties.
Every Saturday, from November 20 to December 18, 2021, share a moment of tasty happiness with the meal boxes for two people available on order (eight days in advance).
“Here is a perfect opportunity to offer yourself or someone dear, a festive meal to enjoy at home! In addition to making people happy, you directly encourage a local business that stands out for its generosity towards its community and you help your Foundation to support its users and its nursing staff, ”underlines the FRHSI.
Those who purchase a meal at a cost of $ 175 per box will have a chance to win a travel credit worth $ 1,000, a collaboration of Inter Holidays. The draw will take place on Saturday, December 18.
On the menu, as a cold starter, a terrine of foie gras and pear with smoked salmon, as a hot starter a meat croquette from Bavard and the Drunkard and cheese fondue from Quebec, as main meal a cacciatore pork ossobuco or a cheek of braised beef in red wine, all served with cavatelli, grilled vegetables and beet salad, and a seasonal cake for dessert.
