Ukrainian servicemen had to open fire on the enemy in order to stop the shelling.
Over the past day, the separatists violated the ceasefire in Donbas five times. One Ukrainian soldier was injured informs the press center of the Joint Forces Operations Headquarters in the morning briefing on Friday 3 September.
So, in the area of Zolote-3, the enemy opened fire twice from heavy anti-tank and automatic heavy grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the area of Novomikhaylovka, 120-caliber mortars were fired at Ukrainian positions. Near Krasnohorovka, the enemy used 100-mm artillery. And in the area of Novotoshkovsky he opened fire from small arms.
“As a result of enemy fire, one soldier of the Joint Forces was wounded. The soldier is in a medical facility, his health condition is satisfactory,” the message says.
It is also noted that Ukrainian fighters opened fire on the enemy in order to stop the shelling.
“The Ukrainian side of the JCCC reported to the representatives of the OSCE mission about all the facts of violations by the Russian occupation forces,” the headquarters added.
