You can apply to the Senator for Children and Education for recognition of foreign educational qualifications for the following professions:
- Educators
- Nannies
- Curative educators,
- Technicians
(except for Eastern European engineering degrees – contact the Chamber of Crafts)
Required Documents
- resume
- Officially certified copies of diplomas, diplomas or other evidence with subjects and grades in the original language and as a German translation (by a recognized / sworn translator approved in Germany)
- Officially certified copies of existing proof of work in the original language and as a German translation (by a recognized / sworn translator approved in Germany)
- Proof of the B2 level in German (for issuing the professional permit)
- Valid federal identity card or passport
