It was finally set up for the semifinals of the ATG Swedish Cup between IFK Kristanstad and IK Sävehof. But around 14:30, the decision was made to postpone the match due to covidfall in Sävehof.
Getting a cup semi between IFK Kristianstad and IK Sävehof has proved to be a near impossible task. The semi-final has already been moved twice (or is it maybe three?) And the intended double meeting has been turned into a single meeting in Kristianstad.
After many ifs and buts as well as a lot of frustration with the law as Robin Nilsson at Kristianstadbladet gives an exemplary account of so it was finally time for the match to be played. We thought.
Now the semi has been postponed again and when the new game opportunity is remains to be seen. To GP, Sävehof’s sports director Emil Berggren comments on the following:
– The union asks us to try to find a solution that fits. If we can not come to a conclusion, the union must go in and come up with some kind of solution. So we will see how it turns out, Berggren states.
