Four teams will fight for glory in Salvadoran soccer after having defined the semifinals of the current tournament. Alianza, FAS, Águila and Jocoro are the four teams that will seek to lift the league title and great expectations have already been generated for the keys that will be played in a few days.
Alianza and FAS will star in the first key of this semifinal phase. The Albo team entered the Semis after defeating Once Deportivo by an aggregate score of 5-2 with an inspired Rodolfo Zelaya who scored a goal in the first leg of these quarterfinals. For its part, FAS won its series with a 3-2 aggregate against Sonsonate.
Finally, the second semifinalist key in the League of El Salvador will be played by the Águila and Jocoro FC clubs. Águila dominated in the quarter-finals against Firpo and took the series 3-0, while Jocoro FC did the same against Municipal Limeño, winning their quarter-final series with a 2-1 aggregate.
Hours and dates to be defined
It is expected that in the next few hours the leaders of the League of El Salvador will determine and announce the schedules, venues and dates for the semifinals to take place. At the moment the only certainty are the crosses between clubs and the fans eagerly await the announcement of the calendar for the round trip games.
