Jakarta –
Honda seems to be launching the latest generation of CR-V in Indonesia. After the design patent was registered in Indonesia, now a new car code appears, presumably the sixth generation Honda CR-V.
The code appears on the Motorized Vehicle Sales Value Information (NJKB) website of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Regional Revenue Agency. The code is registered on the type of jeep or SUV together with the previous generation CR-V.
The car codes in question are RS38 T CVT and RS58 RS CVT ZZ. The two cars are allegedly the sixth generation Honda CR-V which made its global debut last year.
The registered RS38 T CVT has a sales value of IDR 453 million. And the selling price of the RS58 RS CVT ZZ is IDR 500 million. For your information, the selling price here is not the on the road price because it does not include taxes. It’s possible that if it’s on the road the price could be above the selling price.
Previously, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. registered the sixth-generation CR-V design. Honda’s new car design is listed in the Official Industrial Design News document No. 33/DI/2022 which was released by the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
From the front, side and rear views, the design of this car is identical to the sixth generation Honda CR-V which launched earlier in the United States.
The sixth generation Honda CR-V is offered with two engine options. First, there is a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine capable of producing a maximum power of 190 HP at 6,000 rpm engine speed. Second, the 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine is combined with two motor hybrid systems that can produce a maximum power of 204 HP.
The sixth generation All New Honda CR-V uses a CVT transmission which is now equipped with Step-Shift programming technology which can make gearshifts more pronounced when driving. Specifically, the CR-V Hybrid uses a two-motor hybrid system transmission.
There are several safety features embedded in the All New Honda CR-V which debuted in the United States, including Retuned Real Time All-Wheel Drive with Intelligent Control, Hill Descent Control, Snow driving mode, next gen front airbags, new standard knee and rear passenger side-impact airbags, Honda Sensing which comes with a new wide-view camera and radar, new Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Low-Speed Braking Control and Traffic Sign Recognition system (TSR).
