The Hungarian Sports Journalists’ Association (MSÚSZ) made public only this afternoon how exactly the voting of sports journalists ended in each category. By the way, the exact final result was announced already on December 30, when the top three winners in each category were announced. Naturally, the identity of the winners could only be revealed at Monday’s gala. In recent years, however, we have been able to learn about the difference in votes on the night of the gala or the next morning. Now, however, in the coverage of the gala, go to the MSÚSZ website the only number that came up was that more than a thousand people celebrated at the Opera House.
Kristóf Milák won by a large margin
Well, shortly before 4 p.m., everything became clear, and we can say that the difference in men is incredible. But not because it is very small, but because it is surprisingly large. Kristóf Milák won easily, more than two hundred votes ahead of Áron Szilágyi. Although Liu Shaoang became an individual Olympic champion and won four World Cup golds, more than Milák and Szilágyi together (2+1), he only finished third in the voting. Of course, it goes without saying that if he does not say goodbye to Hungary at the end of the year, even before the vote – together with his brother, Sándor Liu Shaolin – the result will obviously be quite different.
Here are the final results of the polls, you can have a treat!
