Did you know that there is a “secret” Bugatti, produced in a limited series? Very few people in the world own it.
The rarer the cars, the more they are prized by collectors: owning a model that very few others have, or perhaps no one else has, is an incredible source of pride, especially if the brand is a luxury one.
For example the Bugattione of the most prestigious automotive brands, produced a model that is still highly sought after today precisely because of its extreme rarity.
The French car manufacturer has always been a symbol of luxury, known for its sports and racing cars. The original company, the one founded by Ettore Bugatti, unfortunately no longer exists: today Bugatti Automobiles is part of Bugatti Rimac, a joint venture between Rimac Automobili and Porsche.
However, this does not mean that the Bugattis have not lost their charm, on the contrary: even today they are among the most talked about and desired cars in the world. One, in particular, has attracted the attention of collectors for many years: the EB112, a “phantom” vehicle.
Bugatti EB112
The Bugatti EB 112 is a concept car produced by the French automobile manufacturer Bugatti in the 1990s. This model represented a high-end example in the world of luxury cars and was designed to compete with prestigious brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley. The Bugatti EB 112 was a four-door, four-seat sedan, featuring a elegant and streamlined design. I rode a 6.0-liter 5-valve V12 engine with over 400 horsepower which gave the car high performance.
Traction was all-wheel drive and the EB 112 offered a number of advanced technologies for the time, such as active suspension and a wide range of comfort and luxury features inside the cabin. The model had a maximum speed of 300 km/h and the transition from 0 to 100 took just 4.4 seconds. A real gem for the time.

A particular story
The debut of the EB112 took place at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show. The model immediately made enthusiasts talk, but it only entered the market two years later. The EB112 was eagerly awaited by everyone, and already from the premises it foreshadowed itself as a car exclusive, because only 400 of them would have been produced.
However, despite initial positive expectations, the Bugatti EB 112 never entered large-scale production. The company was going through financial difficulties at the time and the EB 112 remained only a prototype, a concept car, without ever really reaching the market. They were only produced in all four models, and not even complete according to the initial project. So there are only four in the world; one of these was seen last May at the Motor Valley Fest in Modena, becoming the undisputed protagonist of the event. A pity that this model never went into production.
