KOMPAS.com – A fire engine hit two motorcycle riders in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Kalsel), Thursday (31/3/2022).
In that incident, a driver with the initials MH (40) died after undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The other motorcyclist survived, although he was injured.

The head of the Traffic Accident Unit of the Banjarmasin Police, Ipda Suparwoto, said the fire truck driver with the initials WAS (22) was officially arrested for negligence.
“The driver is still in the investigation stage and has entered the investigation stage,” said Ipda Suparwoto, to reporters, Friday (1/4/2022).
Accident chronology
Suparwoto explained that the accident began when the fire engine driven by WAS was traveling at high speed from the Old Market after receiving information about a fire that occurred on Jalan Pramuka.
While crossing Jalan Veteran, WAS met a convoy of other fire engines.
