The company “Wolt” has already opened the second cloud store in Riga – “Wolt Market” in Mežciems, informs the company.
It is planned to open Wolt cloud stores in other Latvian cities in the near future.
“The demand for time-saving solutions continues to grow, making online groceries and fast-moving foods increasingly popular around the world. Changes in customer behavior are also affecting Wolt Market, which is expanding rapidly across Europe, ”says Bruno Grandi, developer of Wolt Market in Latvia.
Unlike the usual everyday purchase of goods in the store on site, in the cloud store “Wolt Market” shopping carts are delivered to the customer by the store’s employees. Within about 30 minutes, the customer can choose to receive it at their address or by going to the Wolt Market store.
“Wolt Market” Mežciems will serve customers in Purvciems, Teika, Jugla, Pļavnieki, Dārzciems, Dreiliņi, Jaunbrūnava, Ulbroka, Brekši and, of course, Mežciems. The first two weeks of delivery from Wolt Market customers are free, but after that they will remain free for purchases over 30 euros.
The first Wolt Market store opened in 2020 in Helsinki, Finland. At present, more than 50 company stores are available to residents in 15 different countries, two of which are now available in Riga – “Wolt Market” in Grīziņkalns and “Wolt Market” in Mežciems.
