According to Go3’s representative Kārlis Pozņakovs, “Tunnelis” is the most watched original Go3 series so far. In it, the tense relationships of the main characters, the intrigues of the prison and the hopes of breaking out were able to captivate the audience with the tense events. The storyline of the series has developed since the events of 1994 in Jelgava, when 89 prisoners escaped from Pārlielupe Prison, tens of thousands of people were involved in the search for the fugitives, and mass arrests continued for ten years. The story of the second season is the series’ interpretation of what could happen after the big break.
The sequel resumes at the end of the first season – the prisoners break free and disperse, but are spotted – a sharp chase begins. From the very beginning, viewers will be introduced to the new faces of the series, which will play an important role in the further development of events, Poznakov reports.

This season the team of the series “Tunnelis” will feature such actors as Andris Bulis, Anete Berķe, Jurijs Djakonovs, Andis Strods, Kaspars Gods, Gatis Gāga, Ivars Auziņš, Januss Johansons, Artis Drozdovs, Dārta Daneviča, James Tratas (Lithuania), Gints Grāvelis , Ilze Pukinska, Inga Alsiņa-Lasmane, Normunds Laizāns, Mārtiņš Liepa and others.
