Yesterday afternoon, the opening ceremony of the second qualifying round of the Rio Negro Volleyball Federation under-18, in the female and male branches, took place. It will take place this weekend at the facilities of the Municipal Gymnasium and the gymnasium of the Club Sportivo Ferrocarril.
The welcoming words to the athletes participating in this event were given by the Director of Sports, Gustavo Montiel, and the Secretary General of Institutional Coordination and Government, Matías Hermo, who thanked the families who accompany the adolescents, highlighting that sport is the healthiest environment for the development of young people. “Beyond the competition, on behalf of the Municipal Mayor, I wish you to enjoy, above all things, this sporting event,” concluded the official. The participating teams in the female branch are Villa Congreso (Viedma), Lamarque, the Municipal School of Luis Beltrán and Club Río Negro (Gral. Roca). In the male branch, Villa Congreso (Viedma), Lamarque, the Municipal School of Luis Beltrán, Club Río Negro (Gral. Roca), Centro Empleados de Comercio (Gral. Roca) and the Municipal School of San Antonio Oeste will participate.
