The second generation Volkswagen ID.3 will open a new chapter in the success story of the ID range. 100% electric from the House. At the moment the ID.3 is produced in the factories in Zwickau and Dresden in Germany.
The production network in 2023 will be expanded to include the main Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg and meet the high levels of demand from customers interested in the electric compact.

How does the second generation of electric cars look like?
The new ID.3 will soon enter the price list, is equipped with latest generation softwarewhich improves system performance and is capable of receiving over-the-air updates. That’s not all, in fact the standard equipment has undergone a major update for 2023, and in the new variant of the electric compact it includes a display with a diagonal of 12 inches (30.5 centimeters), a removable trunk floor and a center console with two cup holders. All elements of the latest generation, which increase the comfort on board the vehicle and its versatility.
The charging experience of the new Volkswagen ID.3 is even more convenient and simpler for everyone, not least thanks to functions such as Plug & Charge and the intelligent, newly developed Electric Vehicle Route Planner. Volkswagen has used the latest generation of fully integrated assistance systems in the ID.3, we can give some examples: the first concerns the Intelligent Travel Assist with Swarm Data and the second highlight is the Park Assist Plus with Memory function .

At the moment we have no other information regarding the second generation of ID.3, but in the coming months the House will reveal us all versions and prices of the Italian range, which will debut – as we said – in the spring of 2023. Due to the high volume of orders, customers who order the new versions will receive their ID.3 starting from the fourth quarter of 2023.
